PROCEDURE IN THE EVENT OF DEATH
DEATH AT HOME
- It is best to contact the family doctor. If s/he cannot be reached, then contact the emergency doctor.

DEATH IN HOSPITAL
- Have the death certificate issued in cooperation with the hospital staff.

DEATH IN A RETIREMENT HOME
Notify doctor or responsible personnel
- Have the death certificate issued in cooperation with the nursing home staff.
- Contact IVATI after medical clarification.
ACCIDENTAL DEATH
- In the event of accidental death, the police (police emergency number 117) must be notified first.
- The police will then inform the responsible public health officer.
- Contact IVATI after medical clarification.
